About Salmamail
Salmamail is a free temporary email service. Open the site, get a working address in one click, and keep your real inbox away from sign-up forms you do not trust yet. No account, no installation, no cost.
Why Salmamail exists
Every day, thousands of websites ask for an email address before they show you anything: a coupon, a download, a free trial. Each one wants a permanent address it does not really need — and the result is a real inbox slowly buried under newsletters, promotions, and the occasional outright spam campaign.
Salmamail was built as a simple answer to that problem: a clean, fast, throwaway inbox that works in your browser and asks nothing of you. You get an address instantly, you read what you came for, and you walk away.
What makes Salmamail different
- No sign-up, ever. Your address is generated on the spot. If you want to protect a mailbox, you can add a password — but it is always optional.
- Privacy-first design. We store as little as possible: no raw IP addresses, no tracking analytics in the inbox, and no selling of data. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
- A live inbox. Messages appear as they arrive — no refresh needed — and verification codes are detected automatically, so you can copy them in one click.
- Multiple mailboxes. Keep a separate address for every site or purpose, so nothing leaks from one sign-up into another.
- Works on your phone. The whole app runs in your browser, and you can pair a second device by scanning a QR code.
- Free, funded honestly. You never pay. Ads appear only on content pages like this one — never inside your inbox.
How it works under the hood
Mail for your address is accepted at Cloudflare's edge and delivered straight to your mailbox, usually within seconds. The inbox itself is just a web page — there is nothing to install or configure. Messages and mailboxes are retained only as long as they are useful, then cleaned automatically.
